The Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, has scheduled the 10th board examination from 15 February 2020 to 20 March 2020. Approx 16 lakh students will write the CBSE Class 10 Board exams. The examination will be held in offline mode, i.e., in pen and paper mode. After successful completion of the examination board will release the CBSE 10th Result 2020. The checking of the answer sheets is expected to be done by April 2020. To qualify the Xth board examination, candidates to have to score at least 33% in each subject.
Last year (2019), the board had conducted the exams from 21 February to 29 March 2019 and had released the result on 06 May 2019. In the year 2019, a total of 17, 74,299 students had registered for the 10th board examination, and the 17, 61,078 had appeared, and out of this 16, 04,428 has successfully qualified the exam. And the overall passing percentage was 91. 10%. It is expected that the passing rate of the 10th board examination 2020 will be 89.25%.

Verification and Re-evaluation of CBSE 10th Result 2020
After the declaration of the result, students can check the result, and the students who are not satisfied with their result can go for Verification and Re-evaluation. To apply for the Verification and Re-evaluation candidates required to submit an online form. The application form will be available in May 2020. To fill the form, students have to deposit a fee for the re-evaluation of Rs. 500 per subject. The fee will be accepted via online mode such as gateway/net banking, debit/credit card (both national/ international). Besides, students can also demand the photocopies of the answer sheets, for photocopies candidates have to pay an additional Rs. 500 per subject.
